University Associates has permitting (for Phase I) and civil infrastructure agreements from the Town of Davie and zoning approval from the Town Council. All entitlements for construction of Phase I and II are in place. University Associates currently owns 23 of the sites total 30 acres, and will purchase the remaining property from NSU. Phase I development comprises 14 acres and includes infrastructure costs. University Associates has successfully negotiated all drainage to be through underground storage detention and off-site storage. Zoned as Regional Activity Center-Academical Village (RAC-AV) and designated a mixed-use area, The Village will become a unique town center for NSU and the South Florida Educational Campus and the only location in the Town of Davie that will allow 15 stories or 150 feet high structures.
